Seth Powell, MS, LPC
Therapist and Speaker
Seth holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language. He brings extensive experience working with foster, adoptive, and high-risk youth and families, combining clinical knowledge with real-world insight. As both a former foster parent and an adoptive parent, Seth has navigated the realities of domestic and international adoption, including both private and state systems, giving him a deeply grounded perspective on the challenges and rewards faced by families in transition.
Trained in the assessment and treatment of ADHD, he is also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator for marriage and couples therapy. Seth integrates multiple evidence-based modalities (such as Talk Therapy, Brainspotting, Theraplay, and CBT) into his work.

Before transitioning into the field of mental health, Seth spent nearly two decades in education and bi-vocational ministry. He has taught subjects across grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade, including art, language arts, and history, and remains deeply passionate about the role of quality education in building strong communities. His ministry experience, both in the United States and South America, fostered a deep commitment to cross-cultural understanding and advocacy for underserved populations.
